Free Family Concerts are presented in December and May, and welcome families with small children and friends with special needs. We love providing opportunities for young children to enjoy exciting live music in a concert setting, especially music made by other children! Our concerts are less than an hour long, held in the morning, and wiggles are expected. Some families sit in the seats, some sit with their little ones on the floor with a toy, some make use of our provided coloring sheets, and all enjoy the beauty and refreshment of children’s voices performing music to delight every age. Trust us. You haven’t been to a concert like this.

  • December’s annual LOVE THAT BOOK! concerts weave music into the narration of a beloved children’s book, and have included: The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats, The Tomte’s Christmas Porridge by Sven Nordquist, All-of-a-Kind Family Hannukah by Sidney Taylor, The Legend of Old Befana by Tomie dePaola, The Tailor of Gloucester by Beatrix Potter, and upcoming in 2025 Grandma’s Gift by Eric Velasquez. Mark your calendar today!
  • May’s concert is built around a theme which inspires singers and audience members to consider the poetry and music just a little differently. Past concert themes include: Delicious (songs of feasting and things we hunger for), Fierce (songs for any fate! and creatures!), Music Fills the Night (stars, crickets, dreams, mystery) and more!  Poetry features in these concerts, and language arts connections for every age abound.
